The Giant Steps Charity Classic at Sonoma Horse Park has become one of our favorite events each summer.
This year it has been embraced by Hermès and event maestro Colin Cowie, who will create a setting that highlights the excellence of show jumping.
That excellence extends, of course, to the amazing work that the event beneficiary, the Therapeutic Equestrian Center, does in providing services to people with a wide range of physical, emotional and developmental challenges.
The six-day horse show runs from July 28 through August 2, 2015, with the gala presented by Colin Cowie taking place on Saturday, August 1st (purchase tickets here.) The gala features a formal dinner, live auction and entertainment, a Six Bar jumping competition and an inspiring demonstration by Giant Steps’ riders.
The following day, Shaklee will present a $40,000 grand prize to the winner of the Olympic-level competition.
